The Experience
The Plants & Garden Kids Holiday Experience is a four-day programme designed to give children a meaningful and memorable way to spend part of their holiday.
Through plants, gardening, creativity, local flavours, farming, bees and honey, children will have opportunities to learn by doing, make things, explore new environments and experience the natural world in different ways.

Four days of activities, materials, local experiences and plenty of opportunities to learn, create and have fun.
The Programme
Each day gives children a different way to explore plants, nature, creativity and life beyond the classroom.
Handcrafted Mushrooms
Children will combine gardening and creativity as they paint terracotta pots and plant them, then create decorative mushrooms to add their own personal touch to their garden-inspired creations.
Plants, Tea & Seed Bombs
Children will explore plants through taste and creativity as they learn about herbs and local plant uses, create their own tea blends and make seed bombs to take home.
Growing In The Real World
Children will step outside the usual holiday setting and experience a working farm garden, gaining an opportunity to see where plants and food are grown and to connect with agriculture in a real-world environment.
Bees, Honeycomb & Christmas Tea Party
Children will be introduced to the fascinating world of bees and honeycomb through an engaging, hands-on experience.
The programme concludes with a special Christmas Tea Party, bringing the four-day experience together in a festive celebration.

More Than A Holiday Activity
Children get hands-on with planting, growing, caring for plants and learning where food comes from.
Painting, making and creating give children opportunities to express themselves and take something home.
Children explore gardens, farms, plants, pollinators and the natural world through real experiences.
The programme gives children space to work together, try new things and connect with people and their surroundings.
